This  tour has been uniquely designed  to deliver experience and value. You accommodation for this tour will be in eco-friendly camps. Blending into their surroundings with minimal environmental impact, these eco-camps allow you to experience the raw drama of a safari under canvas but with all the creature comforts.

You will head for the slopes of Mount Kenya and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This diverse reserve of wooded grasslands, acacia thickets and evergreen forests is quite simply a wildlife paradise. Home not just to the Big 5, Ol Pejeta is also East Africa’s largest stronghold for the highly endangered black rhino and even rarer northern white rhino – there is even a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees!

The Masai Mara, game viewing is excellent all year round but little can beat the magical sight of migrating wildebeest and zebra between July and October as they pour nervously onto the Mara plains, followed closely by hungry predators. The tension increases as the migration crosses the Mara River where lurking hungry crocodiles await their next meal – this is an African safari at its most dramatic.

The final stage of the tour is at Kenya’s white sands and turquoise waters of Diani Beach at Swahili beach resort & spa. Swahili Beach resort and spa is the signature stopover for the modern traveler seeking roots in the days of old and a foothold on contemporary luxury.

    Day 1Nairobi

On arrival at JKIA you will be met by representative who will transfer you to Ole Sereni Hotel for your overnight stay. Ole Sereni Hotel offers the ideal location from which to start your safari adventure as it is the only city hotel situated within a game park.

    Day 2 Nairobi - Amboseli

After having breakfast, you’ll check-out of your Nairobi hotel and take a road transfer to Amboseli National park and your home for the next two days-Tortilis Camp. Tortilis Camp has a prime location for witnessing the majesty of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Located in a private conservancy bordering the national park, game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the national park and in the conservancy, where you enjoy exclusivity.

The tents are all spacious, with king or twin beds and elegant en suite bathrooms.

Expert guides will lead game drives in search of animals ranging from elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and striped hyena to jackal, giraffe, warthog and zebra. Bird watchers will be thrilled by the abundant birdlife in the area, especially birds of prey.

    Day 3Amboseli

Your morning will kick off with a hearty breakfast followed by a full morning of game viewing in the famous Amboseli National Park. After a morning of big game and big cats, find a shady spot for a picnic lunch before returning to camp to relax. After a refreshing dip in the pool, catch up on some sleep or set off on a Maasai guided walk to a nearby village for some remarkable insights into local Maasai culture.

As the heat of the day ebbs away, set off on an afternoon game drive, stopping for a sundowner drink at a scenic viewpoint. If the weather plays along, you may enjoy breathtaking views of iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. Heading back to camp, a spot light is used to locate nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, bush babies and serval cats on the prowl. Return to camp for a wholesome dinner around a campfire beneath a canopy of stars, ready to swap stories about the day’s adventures.

Day 4Amboseli - Samburu National Reserve

After an early breakfast at Tortilis camp, you will check-out and drive to the mystical, dry, rugged and stunning semi-desert; Samburu Game Reserve. where the Elephant Bedroom is your home for the next two days. The camp is set on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, under the welcome shade of green riverine forest. The river cuts through the dry Samburu region with its spectacular scenery and rocky cliffs. Here you feel far from civilization but with every possible luxury at your fingertips.

Due to its remote distance and the fact that it was inaccessible for many years, the park has retained a naturally serene and quiet feeling. The reserve’s topography is mainly open savannah (grassland) with clusters of acacia trees, forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation and the surrounding is an area of spectacular scenery with its dry plains bisected by the meandering life lung Ewaso Nyiro River that cuts through this reserve, drawing a big population of wildlife to the park.

    Day 5Samburu National Reserve

Today we rise up early and enjoy your bush breakfast and set out in the park in search of rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. Before it is hot, we return to the camp for lunch. Samburu is hot and it is at times not advisable to have a full day game drive. We head out for our evening game drive between 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Look out for the elusive Kenya leopard that is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings.

Other wildlife present in the park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos. Besides, the park is a bird haven and boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others

Day 6Samburu National Reserve - Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy

Rise up early for breakfast, check out and depart Samburu National Reserve for the famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy. We will arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our evening game drive between 1500hrs to 1830hrs. Host to all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.

Your home for the next two days will be Asilia’s Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, situated in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is the ultimate in Kenyan hospitality and safari excellence. Here you will share your space with the last two surviving northern white rhino in the world.

Ol Pejeta’s seven traditional East African safari tents offer an excellent base from which to explore the secrets of this renowned conservancy – from the pioneering conservation projects that have made it famous to spectacular sightings of black and white rhino and the Big Five. Ol Pejeta is the first choice for discerning safari veterans looking for a luxury bush camp and to understand and enjoy the very best of world-leading conservation practice.

    Day 7Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy

After an early breakfast in camp, head to the lounge area where you will be met by your expert guide and head out into the bush on foot for a morning guided walk in the Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy. There is no better way to experience the wilderness of East Africa up close and personal than on foot with the sun rising in the background. The morning walk will last for around 3-4 hours (temperature dependent), offering the chance to the Big Five.

A picnic lunch will be served before your journey back to camp for a well-deserved rest. Once you are relaxed and refreshed you will enjoy dinner at the camp and head to the campfire where whiskies are poured and safari tales are told late into the night.

Day 8Ol pejeta Wildlife Conservancy - Lake Nakuru

Rise up early for a morning game drive in this beautiful conservancy between 0630-0830hrs. Return to the camp for breakfast, check out and leave Ol Pejeta Conservancy for Lake Nakuru National Park where mbweha safari camp will be you home for the next two days.

Mbweha Camp is only a few hours from Nairobi, yet feels right away from it all with its relaxed atmosphere. Being situated outside a National Park allows many activities, including walking, mountain biking and night game drives. Guests can also enjoy day trips into Nakuru National Park with the option of a gourmet bush lunch with spectacular views of the Lake and the National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park offers you a rare insight into Kenya’s most diverse flora, fauna and wildlife and is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingos. The birds throng on Lake Nakuru itself, one of the Rift Valley soda lakes that comprises almost a third of the park’s area. More than 450 species of birds have been recorded here as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. Lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, pythons, and white rhinos are just some of the animals you might see, and the landscapes range from sweeping grasslands bordering the lake to rocky cliffs and woodland. The park also protects the largest euphorbia candelabrum forest in Africa

Located on the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border. It is situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s.

Masai Mara is one of the lushest reserves in Africa, and is globally renowned for the Great Migration when thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle travel to and from the Serengeti, from July through October. In the Mara River, throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk.
