    Itinerary

    Day 1Nairobi – Samburu

    After breakfast depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands, cross the Equator where you can stop for pictures. Proceed to Samburu which is located in a rugged semi desert region. Lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drives. Samburu Game Reserve is home to some of the rare wildlife species including the Beisa oryx, Reticule Giraffes, Masai ostrich and the Gravy’s zebras. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge.

    Day 2Safari in Samburu National Reserve

    After breakfast, morning game drive- lunch at the Samburu Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Optional: Visit a local Samburu village for a cultural visit. The Samburu people are close relatives of the Masai tribes men and share a lot of similarities as both depend on livestock for livelihood with nomadic lifestyles. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge.

    Day 3Samburu - Nairobi

    After breakfast, depart Samburu Sopa Lodge for Nairobi-lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and after lunch transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
