This Safari aims to visit 1 of the Great Rift Valley Lakes and spend 2 nights at the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Nairobi

After pick-up from your preferred location you’ll be transferred to Naivasha which is about 75 km from Nairobi.
You’ll arrive in good time at Sopa Lodge Naivasha. The resort is well-located just a few metres from the fresh-water lake.
You’ll have your lunch then after that that head out for a boat-ride where you’ll get a chance to see hippos and various bird species.
You’ll then go for a nature walk in Crescent Island Sanctuary. The wildlife is easy to see here and the likes of waterbucks, impalas, hippos, giraffes, elands, zebras are easily spotted roaming about.
You’ll then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight
After having breakfast, you’ll check-out of your resort in Naivasha and head South-west towards Maasai Mara. Its the most-visited Reserve in the country followed closely by Amboseli National Park.
Basecamp Explorer is an eco-friendly camp located right near Talek River with wonderful staff and various eco-friendly programmes running. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and after that have a leisure afternoon as you watch the hippos play in the river. You’ll have a late afternoon game drive where you’ll have a chance to track various wildlife including the big 5 and their prey.
You’ll then head back to camp for dinner and overnight.
On this day, you’ll head out early before breakfast for an early morning game drive. This will give you a chance to spot the nocturnal game before they hide after the crack of dawn.
After this you’ll head back to the camp for breakfast. After that, you’ll freshen up for the day. You’ll have the option of leaving with picnic lunch and spend the whole day in the reserve having plenty of photo opportunities or go out for game drives and have lunch at the camp. The choice is yours really.
Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
After having breakfast, you’ll check-out and head back to Nairobi. The journey can take upto 6 hours. You’ll have an option of stopping at Narok for lunch or a snack before proceeding on with your journey.
You’ll be dropped off at your pick-up location.
